Die Volksbühne Berlin geht während ihres Umbaus in den öffentlichen Raum. Mit dem “Kubus” stellt sie einen Aktionsraum zur Verfügung, der nun von einigen Studierenden der TU Berlin zur Eröffnung des Kubus bespielt wird.

The ADIP studio urban occupation at the TU Berlin is exploring the possibilities (and limitations) of public space, similar to Volksbühne with their excursion into the city.
What are the social and political conditions of public space today? Is the growing enmeshment of corporate presence (advertisement, Sony Centres, O² Arenas) to be stopped, or is there any way to benefit from it? To find out, we have started a series of interventions in public space, some of which we are going to present to you on June 1st in form of short films.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL: COME AND BE PART OF A PUBLIC EXPERIMENT/EVENT. Please don’t be scared, there will be a bar, and before the police arrive, everybody will be tipsy anyway!
ALL YOU NEED to bring is a portable mp3-player/Ipod/cellphone that allows you to receive our special radio programme. OR, from May 30th onwards, we will have the tracks on our website! This way you can download our soundtrack to your player in advance (but don’t you dare listen to it beforehand!)
